After using the display went blank and is dead with the microwave emitting a beeping sound every 10 seconds?

the LCD is bad, 22 year later a great run that.
use flash light to it , see data there that means backlamp dead
buy new one.
THERE IS NO LCD FUSE EVER. it used low power
from he PCB (display drive logic is there only)
the PCB may have fuse or onboard solid state fuse. that self resets if shorts are removed.
if you see no fuse there, F1 F2, etc there is none.!
use the flash light test. first.. OK??
SO DOES OUR POST MEAN , ONLY lcd dead, BUT BOTTONS NOT DEAD and most beep, so beeps dead? see buttons with programmed times, like pop corn etc, do those work?
LCD dead sure makes time set hard
but gee, hit time 11 and run,
see if 11s seconds, runs the fan and Uwave maggy
cooks for 11 seconds. blind./
lots to test there before giving up.

OK only LCD is dead.

It sounds like a bad door switch to me. You need an ohm meter and know how to use it. Checking door switches on microwave ovens can be tricky..

time for a new microwave?

Are there any display lights?
If not check your house circuit breaker. Check main
Fuse inside microwave. If fuse is blown check damper diode and HV capcitor, magnatron.

If the display is blank, and the oven works, 9 times out of 10 it is a problem with the circuit board that drives the display.

Verify 15 or 20 amp fuse is good use a multimeter check continuity if no meter replace fuse to rule out it's got to be a power problem.

Can you still use the microwave? It's probably the control PCB that needs to be replaced.

If it went dead almost immediately after pressing the Start pad, that's usually a shorted high-voltage capacitor.

If it went dead a few seconds after pressing the Start pad, that's usually a failing high-voltage transformer.

If it goes dead or blows the breaker when you plug it in or open or close the door, then there's a problem with a door switch or door switch mount.
