My remote control deprogrammed and I lost the instructions. How do I reprogramme the remote desktop support? thank you

Hi,

Automatic Programming

With automatic programming, the remote control tests all the codes available on the Code List and assigns the correct code for the selected device.

1. Turn off the device with which you want to use the remote control.

2. Press and hold the corresponding button on the remote control(TV, VCR, SAT, DVD, CAB or AUD) until the POWER INDICATOR illuminates. The remote control is in programming mode.

3.Press and release power button. The POWER INDICATOR flashes once and stays on
indicating the unit is in Power Scan mode.

3. Press CHANNEL UP or CHANNEL DOWN repeatedly until the device turns on.

4. When the device turns on, press OK to store the code.

5. Press any other button. If the device responds, the remote control has been programmed. If the device does not respond, repeat steps 2-5.

Thanx

Nakamichi RE-5, CD-5, MD-5 connections? I've lost

The system control is essentially a link between units.
This is required for the remote to access all the units as the re receiver is housed in the RE-5 unit and relays the signals between the units via 3.5 inch mono jack, generally a short black cable to interlink the units. The RE-5 have 1 and add on units have 2.

Yamaha RX-V630 Is not responding to the remote control unit

Replace the remote control with a universal remote (e.g. Logitech). It is more advanced and very user friendly with a help function if anything doesn't work.
Just follow the instructions in the unit's manual.
If you drop it; be sure to replace the batteries correctly.
Keep good batteries in it and enjoy the convenience of only one remote.
If still in trouble; just visit your local Yamaha dealer for help.

Control seems to be working but unit not responding.

Check your remote control by using a camera or cellphone camera as your eyes to confirm if the remote control is ok. Point the remote control transmitter to your camera and check if a light emits in your remote control transmitter. If no light then the remote control is defective, but if the light is present then the remote is ok and the unit receiver board itself is defective.

Check also if there is a reset or rst button on the remote control, press the button and test the remote.

We have a fujitsu reverse cycle air conditioner. Last night when we went to turn it off with the remote it did not respond. We needed to turn it off at the switch outside the house. We replaced the...

Check if the remote control if still good, using the camera of your cellphone point remote control to the cellphone camera and press the "on" button of your remote and you can see the light emitting from your remote control transmitter. If the lights emits that means your remote control is good, if not means the remote control is defective. If the remote control still good try to press the RST or RESET button on your remote control and try. If wont works it means that the reciever board in the indoor unit is defective.
