My camer is less than a year old, obviously a waste of money. My M575 Kodak Easyshare has the same problems. They pretend all of this "support" stuff and I haven't found okne helpful suggestion yet. Hello Pam, You have either a faulty contact for the battery or your battery is suffering from age. After time these camera batteries lose their capacity. Try a new fully charged battery. Best Regards, Russell
Check the battery of your Camera, check to see if there is any leakage if it does then replace it with a new battery. If not there is no other way but to bring your Camera into any nearest Kodak Dealer near you.
There is only one thing that comes to mind: your rechargeable batteries are weak and don't reach the necessary operating voltage, or they could be the wrong type.
The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.
Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program.
When you want to charge the camera, plug it in and also open the battery door. Don't know why that works, don't know why Kodak doesn't tell customers in the manual to do that, but it does work. Have the battery door open also while charging.
