Check if it has a scrambled image on all sources ie - DVD- VCR - cable/satellite box. Since the PIP is normal it sounds like the signal source is bad.
Post back with more info about your set up (what's hooked to your TV) if you need more info

Um...well when mine does that i unplug it and hold the power button for ten seconds and then plug it back in. Always works for me ;-) hope it works for u.

thankyou thankyou tried it on my big Samsung and I now have my TV back .. I'm an old lady and I would greatly miss the company and I certainly couldn't carry the thing in for repair LOL
