I just installed win 7 on my Sony vgn-fs500p, but my screen cannot open wide. yet it says my VGA driver is up to date, i even tried setting the resolution but it is full. thus (1024*768) please helm me download proper graphic drivers that will be compatible with windows 7 ultimate 32 bit. thank you

You are correct. Since you have installed the Windows 7 Operating System in the Computer, it is required to install the Memory Card Reader Drivers in the Computer to fix the issue.

Please download and install the Drivers from the below link as in the given order.

Please download and save each file on the Computer, after that, please double click on the downloaded file to begin the installation. Please follow the on screen instructions to complete the installation process.

Please make sure that you restart the Computer after each installation.

Installing the Drivers in the above order will fix the issue.

I had the same problem with my VAIO E series motion eye webcam . I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers from device manager, but didnt do any good.Sometimes the device didnt even show up. So finally I uninstalled the driver and installed the win xp driver from the sony vaio support page even though I had Win 7. Now under Imaging devices in Device manager it shows 'Sony Visual Communication camera' but it works perfectly fine.

Dont uninstall the webcam companion just yet.Might be hard to get it back.

Try doing this and see if it works with webcam companion. or else you can try other free webcam softwares like ManyCam.

I'd suggest ring back Sony support and tell them that your OS is Windows 7 - not Vista. Therefore, you need the upgraded VGA driver because the Vista driver is incompatible with Windows 7. Hope it all goes well. If my suggestion works for you, please do rate me. Thanks

You may want to try updating the drivers directly from the Sony site - be sure to get one for Win-7 (other drivers probably will NOT work!)
