This is usually because the wireless key code (password) was entered incorrectly or has got corrupted. Go to "view wireless networks" (from the icon at bottom right of your screen) find the one it says it is connected to and click "disconnect". Then re-boot the PC (not strictly necessary but a good precaution), go back to
"view wireless networks", find the correct one for your router and connect to that with the correct code key. I have seen it where the code key has been changed from the one written on the sticker on the router and if that is the case the "fix" will be more complicated.
Also, if this does not work, go to "control panel" then "Internet options" and then "advanced" and find and click on "reset". This puts Internet Explorer back to the default settings and often fixes it (though NOT if yours is an incorrect wireless key issue as talked about above) - Your home page will change to MSN but that is easy to change to your preference.
Hope this helps

If I were in this situation, (or I should say 'when I am') one of my first steps is to open the command line interpreter, or command prompt. I attempt to contact a remote website without using the browser. Type 'ping www.google.com' (without the quotes) and see if you get a response from Google. A successful ping looks a bit like this, with the website replying. If the pings are returning, then I would guess that IE is causing the issues.
