Olevia 540-B11 Hello all, This is the situation right side of screen dark from upper right corner to bottom right corner. TV does not respond to remote immediately turns on with blue screen and remains at blue screen for atleast 20 min. When choosing DTV it gives a no signal message on the right hand corner I then have to power off and on several times to engage the channels. No cable or satellite just basic HD antenna. Need the TV stand/base for the olevia lcd hdtv 540-b11 model. Any idea where I can purchase?

You would have to order straight from the tv manufacturer. Many of us face that problem when buying a used tv that was mounted on the wall. You might be better off buying a wall mount instead. The base won’t be cheaper.

Nope, all sets NEED a remote control. Only basic functions from the set. Just buy a new remote SPECIFICALLY for that set

Hi, My Olevia 42 inch, model342-B11, has a problem with its picture. At first I had vertical lines running down the screen, then it turned into small squares. What do you think is wrong with it?

Parts are hard or impossible to find for this brand but it sounds like the "main" board which processes all signal in and out of the display.

I have an Olevia 242tfhd television that just stopped working. The blue light was on and when I pressed it- it wouldn't turn on and the blue light went off. I unplugged it for a day and when I plugged it...

Same happened with my Olevia 540-B11. You can probably find the details of how to disassemble the TV somewhere online. The problem is poor stress-relief on the cables that plug into the secondary (low voltage) side of the power circuit board (PCB). Once the back is removed you'll find the PCB on the left side with three cables connected to the very top of the board. These cables plug into four clips, 3 horizontal clips side-by-side at the top and one vertical clip on the left side. Unplug these cables, remove the PCB and re-solder the sockets (there are approximately 40 solder points on the back of the board). Reassemble your TV and it'll work just fine.

OLEVIA 540-B11 42" LCD-Inverter supposedly shot craps

Ok I'm Not an expert on Olevia's but I've done enough LCD Tv's to know a few things. The inverter boards are usually located on the right and left side edges at the back of the chassis. They usually run from the top to the bottom and have multiple connectors coming out to feed the backlights in the LCD panel. I can believe Olevia might not supply them (most other companies do) except as a part of the LCD panel. In some cases, the manufacturer of the LCD panel (Olevia does not make their own panels) does not supply the boards separately to the company making the set..In terms of getting a diagram, the panel maker (probably chinese or korean) probably has one, but Olevia may not. Your best bet would be to keep an eye on a site like this one:
http://www.shopjimmy.com/
They get scrapped TV's and remove the inidividual boards for resale. I have already checked and they don't have the board you're looking for right now, but that can change. Sorry I can't be of more help!
