My now 6 yr old son, LOVES his HS Musical Mp3 player.
He has had it for two years. Only, now it is sticking and just
a little on the fritz.
How do you know it is on?
The light goes from orange/red to green and flashes.
Then it will go off?
Please help, as I am not in a position to replace this at the moment.
Thanks

at the bottom of the player if you look closely in between the metal strip going around the whole player and the back of the mp3 there are little slits stick your nails in that and gently start opening it all the way up the sides.

It is totally fine for him to listen through the speakers. The mp3 for me wasn't that good, mostly because some of my songs would download and the mp3 player wouldn't play the songs. It would probably be fine for your 5 year-old, maybe the company thinks you have to be 8 and up to be careful and not brake an mp3. Other than that, I have no clue.
If you want to you can send me an e-mail. My son has one and he loves it. He had a hard time figuring it out but he loves it now. He was just using it as a camera with FM player but now he figured out how to put songs on it. I'm not sure about video. Here is my e-mail: [email protected]. If not, good luck with that.
Neutralize the acidic orange juice(squash?). A bit of baking soda in a bowl of water in which you wash the mp3(stick) should neutralize the acid. Carefully dry the mp3 stick with towels and a cold flow of air from a fan or hair drier set to "no heat" should dry it out. Give it a try, what have you got to lose?
