Did upgrading your network to BT Infinity involve installing any software on your computer? If so, there could be issues with the
BT Infinity software resetting (erasing) your printer configuration and/or installing a new printer driver or setting a new (invalid) printer as the default printer on the system (thus routing all your printouts to the spool area for a non-functional printer).
To check this:
START> Control Panel> Devices and Printers

Did BT (British Telecom) install FTTC (Fibre to the Cabinet), with copper to the home, or did BT install FTTH (Fibre to the Home)?

No solution, but the same problem. I have three computers and a wireless KODAK printer. If I switch them all off, and swtich on the printer and two of the computers, then the printer is 'not responding', and I cannot PING the IP address of the printer from anywhere. However, as soon as I switch on the third computer, suddenly I can PING the printer from all the computers, and can print.
This only happened at the same time as BT installed their new router, and I have tried two completely different printers. I also tried relocating all the equipment and get the same effect. BT have so far offered me their subscription helpline , as their free support doesnt cover 'wireless problems' - like them having broken my network,

Just upgraded to BT HH5 from HH3 now cannot print. Printer is wired via ethernet to Belkin splitter hub which is ethernet wired to BT hub. Can print via Dell PC running XP on network.

Hi Graham,

I work for Dell's Social Media Team and would like to you help with your question.

Please uninstall and reinstall printer driver and try with a different Ethernet cable.

How do I connect my Netgear DGND3700 router to Fibre internet (BT infinity)

Hi there
Your Netgear router will not connect to BT Infinity directly as the built-in modem is ADSL/ADSL2+ and Fibre requires a VDSL modem as in the HomeHub5 or the BT Openreach modem. Either of these can be used with your Netgear as a subsidiary router/access point. You may now be able to get a router with a VDSL modem built in but 3 years ago it was really only available from BT and BT did not support other makes.
Hope this clarifies matters though perhaps not too helpful

Open "Control Panel", select "Silverlight", and click "Uninstall" to remove Silverlight.
Then, try again.

After router change my kodak esp9250 will not go on network

The printer is no longer on your network. Likely it was configured with a static, (which means it does not change,) Local IP address. Not all Router MFRs use the same "default" Local IP Networks.....so these two likely are different.

You need to bring the printer into your network. You should be able to reprogram it from the printer's menu(s) using the User Guide.

Here is a Flash-based walk-through on how to setup your printer on the network wirelessly.....if you want.
