Hello, it sounds like a failed lid switch part #3949247 it wont rinse or spin with a bad lid switch. it also wont rinse or spin if there is no cold water to the unit.

The washer doesn’t “sense” the suds until all the suds are gone. Instead it rinses by program or a timer. It will rinse the same way no matter how much detergent you put in. When you choose 2nd rinse it will do the same thing twice. There is no sensor just for rinsing suds out.

htc sensor isnt working i would recon
perhaps the element isnt getting power
did it trip your circuit breaker
some times the htc fails
all you get is machine stop because the heater is not detected
if it spins rinses and empties in a timely manner
then all thats left is the heater system
Hi, Initially unplug the washing machine.While the washer remains unplugged, press and hold the [Start/Pause] button on the front panel for five seconds. Plug the unit back in, and run a rinse and spin cycle to test if the DL code is cleared. If you still face the problem then follow the procedure:
Unplug the washer and allow the unit to sit for 30 minutes to give the suds time to dissolve.
Plug the washer back in and press [Power] to turn on the washer.
Do not choose a washing cycle. Press the [Spin Speed] key until "No Spin" is selected.
Press [Start/Pause] to begin a drain only cycle. After the drain only cycle has completed, remove the clothing items from the machine. Turn the power back on and select [Rinse and Spin] and then press [Start/Pause]. This will remove excess soap suds and light residue from the drum.
Repeat this step until no visible suds are in the drum of the washer. Hope this helps.
I think it maybe your lid switch. If the lid switch is out it will not spin and sometimes spin or drain. can you give me a model number so that I can further assist you?
