I have a HTC touch HD mobile phone I can not send SMS message. I get an error "Your text message can not be sent. Be certain that your service center address is correct in Settings and then try sending the message again." How can I set my SMS message center number? I am also try to set service center address at Settings -> Personal -> Phone -> Services -> Voice Mail and Text Messages -> Get Settings button ,but it says 'cannot read settings from the network. try viewing later, or disconnect data connection and try again.

Check your message center number. Contact your service provider. If nothing helps, reset your phone to factory settings

Tap Start >> Settings >> Phone, go to Services tab, select Voicemail and Text Messages and tap Get Settings. You may change the service center number from here. In case you do not know the correct number, call up your SIM provider and get the number from them.
