Signing in problem

First, go to you IE, Click on Tools, Click on Internet Options, Click on Connections, then check "Always Dial my Default Connection. Click Apply, Click OK.

When Yahoo detects that you've already signed into Yahoo Mail, it will disconnect you when you try to sign into messenger or vice versa - thus, the message that you are signed in to another computer.
To get rid of your problem simply disable chat in your mail account by clicking the smiley and following the prompts.
Yahoo remembers your settings until you change them.
Hitting the X on the Contacts page in Yahoo Messenger does Not Sign you out of Yahoo Messenger, it merely closes the contacts page. Always Click "Close & Sign Out" for your Y!M.
I hope this solution will act as an insurance upon soling this problem of yours

2. Enable the "No network detection" option and then click the "OK" button at the bottom of the window.

3. Yahoo! Messenger will ask you if you want to sign in again with your new proxy settings. Click the "OK" button.

4. Enter your Yahoo! ID and password and click the "Sign In" button.

you may have a registry problem download reginout to fix the issue

restart your pc and try again........if you are using messenger 9.0 then click on <messenger> before sign in then click on <connections and preferences> and mark there an option <use no proxy> i hope that will be solved.

if this does not work then wait for sometime and then retry, this also happens if u shutdown messenger without logging out.

I want to sign in yahoo messenger

1st sorry 4 my poor English.
if you have problem to sigin Yahoo Messenger(YM) . 1st you check the internet explore(IE)is working correctly. most of the time it don't work. (but Firefox,chrome,Gtalk,etc..etc.. are works correctly)
so go to IE ->Tools->Internet options->Connections->LAN Settings-> Check Automatically Detect settings and uncheck other options (See the Screen shot below).
Now IE and YM will work fine....

stop using it ,.. that program is horrible!
use live messenger or anything else.

uninstall yahoo messenger and re-insall again.

uninstall yahoo messenger from your computer

restart computer.

defrag drive,

delete temp files in temp folder:

start>run>%temp%...delete
start>run>temp...delete
start>run>prefetch...dlete

now try reinstalling YM. download the installer from majorgeeks.com

dont do the online install. this will work now

did you try to reinstall it again.. ym always has a problem.

check your username and password. also, check your cookie setting (security settings under options) if using internet explorer. try to download mozilla firefox and see if you can sign in with that web browser. www.mozilla.org signed, Doctor MyPC [email protected]
