Since upgrading to Leopard I can not print CD/DVDs.
Software used during problem: EPSON Print CD Version 1.4.0A
I get the following message.
The EPSON printer driver dealing with CD printing is not installed.
I have reinstalled the EPSON Print CD software and drivers but still get
the same message. Any solutions?
I'm having the same problem as everyone else. When I try to print a CD, I'm told "The Epson printer driver dealing with CD printing is not installed," even though it is. I've tried "update printer information" and it doesn't work. I've tried several other suggestions I found online, and none have worked. Is there any solution???

This is frustrating. I use this program to label the DVD's that I output for my work. It worked fine under "Tiger". I still have the Tiger OS hard drive as I was working with it, and have to startup using that disc in order to use Print CD. It's not ideal.
Do those drivers "dealing with CD printing" that are "not" installed exist somewhere in my Tiger disc, that I can copy over to my Leopard disk?
thanks for the quick response, but what does "...not an easy task" mean? is it possible, just difficult? is there a solution out there? Like I said, I have a working "Tiger" version of my startup disk that Epson Print CD works on. Would you know the specific files to try and copy over to my "Leopard" system?thanks for the quick response, but what does "...not an easy task" mean? is it possible, just difficult? is there a solution out there? well..that's the trick..the Tiger to Leapord leap is not that simple. are you using Leapord? if that's the case, you'll need a new set of drivers for more than the printer..this is a major upgrade to the mac OS

Good Luck.
First, install "epson easyprint" from the epson website. Its found under drivers and support for your unit.
Then click ok on that error message about "driver dealing with..." After you click ok on the message, you will get another window where you will find a "manual print" button. Click on this manual print button and this will take you to the next window where you have to select "A4 as the paper size" and "CD/DVD as the paper type and paper path" . After this, click print... it should start to print! This is just a workaround until epson gets a patch for leopard for print cd........hopefully
Apparently the latest software doesn't work with Leopard 10.5.2. I uninstalled the Epson software and installed the earlier version [driver version 3.88] that come on the Installer CD with the printer. Printing now works.

I had the same problem with an Epson R340 printer and Epson Print CD software after installing Leopard. Here's what I did. Go to System Preferences. Select Print & Fax. Select the "+" box on the lower left part of the screen. Select Epson Printer -- USB and click "Add" and "continue" in the box that comes up (if it does).
Now see if Epson Print CD will print to a CD. If it does, great. You can now actually go back to System Preferences and Print & Fax and delete the printer you just added by clicking on the "-" box and Epson Print CD will still work.
Now I found another problem with printing. The CD printing is now off center to the right and down, so in Epson Print CD program you have to click on print and from the print screen click on "Position Adjustment" in the bottom left corner. I've found the perfect position is 3.5 mm up and 3.5 mm left to make everything print perfectly. Good luck.
