DO I NEED TO DRAIN THE WATER IN REGULAR USE?

The Everstar Model# MPN111CRBB4 is a portable air conditioner. Based on the information available, it does not require a constant drain to be hooked up. Instead, it is designed to collect the condensate water generated during operation in an internal reservoir or tank.
Typically, portable air conditioners like the Everstar MPN111CRBB4 have an automatic condensate removal system that uses the collected water to enhance cooling efficiency. When the internal tank reaches its capacity, a "full tank" indicator will usually illuminate on the control panel, indicating that it needs to be emptied manually.
To empty the water tank, you can follow these general steps:
  1. Turn off the air conditioner and unplug it from the power source for safety.
  2. Locate the water tank or reservoir on the unit. It is often located on the back or bottom of the air conditioner.
  3. Gently remove the tank from the unit. Be cautious as the water inside may spill if the unit has been operating recently.
  4. Empty the water from the tank into a suitable container or drain.
  5. Once the tank is emptied, carefully reinsert it back into the air conditioner, ensuring it is securely in place.
  6. Plug in the air conditioner and resume normal operation.
Regarding the ports on the unit, the top port you mentioned may be used for attaching an exhaust hose to vent warm air out of the room. However, it is not typically used for drainage purposes.

you have back fill in the plumbing pipe it will need to be investigated, you may have a blocked pipe or your spill tank is full and needs emptying.

There is no drain pipe for the unit I have. It has a cap on the back but no hold, how does the condensation.

Self Evaporating Technology - During the cooling process, water is extracted from the air into the unit. Most of this water is then recycled and used to cool the unit and make it run more efficiently. Approximately 65 to 70% of water condensed is evaporated out with the exhaust air, reducing the hassle of emptying the water tank constantly. This unit has a built-in water tank (not removable) with a drain outlet, and a water tube. When the tank fills, the compressor stops operating and the power light will flash. This indicates that the tank should be emptied.

Water empty light wont go out

the black wire that was moving water from down condenser to up - water container - remove it. Use cotton swabs to "clean" the holes, do a run of the dryer without that black wire connected ( carefull, cause some wated might spill at this point), reattach black wire, and enjoy :)

It worked for me anyway. ( fingers crossed, its been on for 20 mins and still no red lights flashing)
