Necchi 535FA--the tension seems to be off. The thread keeps breaking or pulling out of the needle. When i sew on cotton it was working then when I switched to a stretchy faux crushed velvet the tread would break after just a few stitches.

Necci 752 manual is needed.problem with threading and stitching

Hm, I'm not able to locate a manual but may be able to offer some suggestions.

Remove the top thread from the machine.
AVOID OLD OR BARGAIN BIN THREAD!
Use the same thread in top and bobbin.
Be sure to use a brand new needle--needs to be compatible with the thread and fabric of the project..
ALWAYS RAISE the presser foot and rethread from the beginning.
Set the top tension to the midway point.
Verify the bobbin is loaded and threaded correctly and it turns the correct direction.
Pull the bobbin thread up through the fabric before taking the first stitch. It also helps to hold both thread tails in your left hand when taking the first stitches.
Test your machine and tweak the top tension until the top and bobbin threads meet in the middle of the fabric. (Increased top tension will pull the bobbin thread up. Decreased top tension will allow the bobbin thread to pull the top thread down.)

I need a diagram of how to thread it or a problem solver the thread eeps breaking at the needle

Search the internet for:
Manufacturer + Model + the word "Manual"

or search YouTube videos for "sewing machine threading." You may not find your exact machine, but many machines have similar threading patterns. Be sure to raise the presser foot before threading the upper thread so it will seat properly in the tension disk.

If the thread is breaking at the needle, it could be several problems:
Threaded incorrectly--#1 cause
Upper tension too tight
Install a brand new needle compatible with the fabric & thread
Make sure the thread is not too large for the needle eye
Avoid old, fuzzy, bargain bin thread

Necchi sewing machine

There are a number of things that could cause this.
Needle installed with flat in the wrong direction.
Excessive thread tension,top or bottom.
Lack of lubrication. If the machine can do anything more than a straight stitch the mechanism can gum up and not move the needle correctly.
Here is a link to threading directions.

First lift up the presser foot
Then turn the handwheel until the take-up lever is at it's highest
Thread:
From the spool
around the thread guide on the top rear
around the thread guide top front
down and around the tension, pulling up to fully engage the check spring in the tensioner
up and through the take-up lever
down through thread guides to the needle
thread the needle from front to back

I've got a Necchi 535FA with a bobbin thread that doesn't hook.

Sounds to me like you may have put the needle in backwards. The flat side should be to the back.
