Casio TK7000 Cash Register. I have all sales appearing as CAID and none in CHID or CKID or CRID. I have checked that Program 3 Address code 08 is set correctly. What else could be affecting this?

Thank you for your response. I have solved it myself by reading & understanding the part of the Dealer Manual which you supplied in your attachments. Thank you for the effort you made.

If the sale is finalized correctly, cash, check, etc., then cash in drawer, credit in drawer, etc. should show up.

If you don't have the cash, check, credit buttons, you can program them in like this:

PGM, then 4, followed by the desired Function Key Code, and then press the Key to assign this function to, followed by pressing the Subtotal button to save.

FUNCTION - CODE - CHARACTER
Cash Amount Tendered - 001 - CASH
Charge - 002 - CHARGE
Check Tender - 003 - CHECK

Refer to the following PDF document for assigning function keys, and a list of the function codes:

I have a Casio PCR-T470 cash register and today I entered an RC amount and after I completed it my CA/AMT TEND button will not work. The only way I can ring a sale is to ring it as a check or a charge. ...

An RC operation won't change the CASH button operation. It sounds like it has accidentally had a limitation applied. Try this:
Turn key to Program mode 0 CASH SUBTOTAL 3 SUBTOTAL 0 CASH SUBTOTAL Now turn back to REG mode

How do I remove items from printing on the z report for the TK-950 Casio register. The items that I would like to remove are CRID(1), CRID(2), CRID(3), CRID(4), TA1, TX1, TA2, TX2.

This is in the general control programming section of your manual. There are lists of the settings for printing of Z reports. You just use the numbers on the right to turn on or off the printing of each description. If you have trouble, just let me know.
If you need a TK-950 manual, c-tech collective have it here: http://the-checkout-tech.com/manuals/cashregisters/Casio_TK-950_user_programming_manual.html

Link a plu to a department

Hi.
Try this:

Turn key to program mode.
3 SUBTOTAL 1166 SUBTOTAL.
Now type the department number to link to (two digits). E.g 01 for dept 1
Now press the double zero (00) button.
Now press the PLU that you want to link to that department.
Now Press SUBTOTAL

That should do it. You must have departments printing in your end of day report, or you won't see the linking.

Let me know if you have any problems.

Mark
