SOURCE: date changes wrong time
thats because analog watches don't know the difference between AM/PM. First reset the time, moving the hour and minute hands another 12 hours will let you know exactly what mode its in (am/pm) first allowing you to set the date correctly.

Actually in the realm of things that is close to midnight. But if you want this changed you will have to take it to a watch repair person because the movement will have to be taken out of the watch and the hands pulled and rest to change when the calender flips over. When I set up watches i usually have the day/date flip after 2 am so that most people never see it change ( because they are asleep lol)

I haven't been able to find your watch on their web site but it sounds as though your watch is a mechanical (automatic?), if this is the case.....
The watch thinks it is midnight at midday, so wind the watch forward 12 hours.

Your problem is caused by the fact that the watch is 12 hours out of step.
Wind your watch forward 12 hours, reset the date if you need to and you watch will then change around midnight.
(if you need to change the date more than one day, when it has past the change time, wind it back and then forward to step the date forward. You may have to experiment to see how far past the change point (in both directions).
