You will have to remove the front screen to clean the guns, but, I would want to know why you think the guns need to be cleaned. I have worked on projection sets that are 7 years old and the projection lenses are not very dirty unless you live in a very dusty area or you have done some home remodeling.

Hi it for sure sounds like your lamp,I don't know your tv model so can 't say which is the one you need but you can find it on discount-merchant and sorry to say dont have a video on how to clean it,check youtube.
I recommend buying the Monster LCD cleaner with the soft cloth available at Walmart or other retailers. There are cheaper LCD cleaners, Make sure to buy soft cloth or microfiber cloths to clean it. Spray lightly on screen and wipe off.

To clean its front screen, you should not open front cover as its complicated procedure. just take off its back cover as its shown in picture and use air-blower to clean dust. Then use soft cotton cloth to clean its screen from internal and 3 bulbs / lenses (CRTs) and job is done.

TAKE THE CLEANEST MOST SOFT CLOTH YOU HAVE DAMPEN WITH WATER OR WATER AND RUBBING ALCOHOL OR JUST PLAIN RUBBING ALCOHOL AND START OFF VERY SOFTLY RUBBING THE DIRT AWAY. THE MORE CONFIDENT YOU BECOME HANDLING YOUR LCD THE MORE EASY IT IS TO CLEAN. AS FAR AS WHY THEY KEEP SHOWING UP? I DONT KNOW. HAPPENS TO MY TV TOO. SOMETIMES I THINK IT MIGHT BE THE CAT. SHE'S DE-CLAWED, BUT PAWS ARE OILY AND DIRTY TO. I THINK SHE MIGHT EVEN LICK IT. LOL I DO MY BEST TO NOT TOUCH IT AT ALL, BUT, EVERY COUPLE OF WEEKS, THERE'S ANOTHER SMUDGE.
it could be dust in the mirror or in the optics,in this set if im not mistaken you have acces to the mirror from the back, anywhere from 12-20 screws it sould be easy to remove plastic cover first and the the mirror.this mirror are very delicate you dont want to leave fingr prints on it it will show just like the dust is showing right know. taking the mirror off will also give acces to the lense.
use someting soft to clean it.

The important thing here is cleaning the refelective mirror inside you tv .We have noticed in dirty areas the dirt on mirror makes blurry picture.THerefore you have to open back cover and than tp cover to clean mirror and also dont forget to claen c.r.t lenses ,sisnce they are mounted facing upward ,lot of dust sit on c.r.t lens there fore clean 3 of them r.g.b..And you will notice on picture diffrence.
hi there, maybe you do have some speaker, transformer or any magnetic near the unit that magnetise the screen. remove any magnetic matterials near the screen and it will come back normally. the cleanning is behined only the screen by brush. ty
