It is unusual to have nothing which leads me to believe the power board has failed. Try a power reset, remove the wall plug for 5 minutes. Plug back in, press and hold the power button on the set, for 12 seconds. If that doesn't fix it, take it in for repair. This is a high specs, low budget make, NZ$928.00 new. The model is only available in New Zealand. We are in North America.

My Konka LCD model KDL32AT23U Displayed a picture, then vanished, showing different colored vertical lines in horizontal blue bands.Then I could not turn it off with the remote or standby button on the side.Only with the main switch.What's wrong??

try Check first all the output voltage in the secondary of the chopper transformer if regular voltage acquire. check secondary switching circuit feedback towards the opto isolator and syscon.

press (SLEEP) button on remote handset& (MENU )BUTTON ON FRONT PANEL OF TV SIMULTANEOUSLY.
the tv receiver will enter in to service mode.
