How can i have an internet connection with my itouch gadget thru belkin router? thank you.

  • Touch the "Settings" icon on the home screen of the iPod touch.

  • Choose the Wi-Fi setting and turn it on. You may need to wait a moment while the device locates available networks.

  • Select the wireless network you want to connect to (Belkin something). You may have more than one option based on your location. If you are prompted for a password, enter it and touch "Join."

  • Opt to have your iPod alert you when there is a new network you can join. This can be useful if you are no longer in range of a network you have previously used. To receive these messages, turn on the "Ask to Join Networks" feature.

  • Tell the iPod touch to "forget" a wireless network that you no longer want to use, so it will not automatically try to connect you. Under the Wi-Fi settings, tap the ">" button next to the network you want to delete and then touch "Forget this network."

  • Expect that some wireless networks detected by your iPod touch will ask you to sign up for a fee-based service. If this is acceptable to you, open up the Safari application from the home screen. You will be taken to a website that explains the terms of service and accepts credit card payments for wireless Internet access.

Ipod touch internet connection problem with belkin 54g!?!

you have to hold the home button and the sleep button for about 10-20 seconds to reset the ipod and for the wireless router/modem it depends on the brand of it but there should be a reset button that you need a paperclip or a pen to push

I just bought a belkin g router so i could get wifi on my ipod touch. my ipod says its connected with the network but the internet wont work on my ipod.

Do you have a modem?Did you subscribe with an internet service provider? If no then you need to subscribe to an ISP because the router alone will not give you internet. If yes, you have an ISP, then tryTry to isolate the problem by using a wireless laptop, if you can connect wirelessly on your laptop and go online then there is a setting to be check on your IPOD,. If you are not online with the laptop you have to make sure the router is configured correctly or check if you can go online directly to the modem.
