You will need a wireless router or wireless modem.

SOURCE: where is switch on dell latitude e6400 to enable

hi

go to this link, review
What You Need to Establish a WLAN Connection http://support.dell.com/support/edocs/systems/ins6400/en/om/network.htm#wp1052373

  1. Click the Start button, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.

  2. Double-click Network Connections.

  3. Right-click the Wireless Network Connection icon, and then click View Available Wireless Networks.

If the Choose a wireless network window states Windows cannot configure this connection, the wireless network card's configuration utility is managing the wireless network card.
If the Choose a wireless network window states Click an item in the list below to connect to a wireless network in range or to get more information, the Windows XP operating system is managing the wireless network card.

I am using DELL Latitude E5510. I am unable to switch on my Bluetooth in this laptop. Can you please help me in connecting the same

Hi,

You would need to download this.

http://support.us.dell.com/support/downloads/download.aspx?c=us&l=en&s=gen&releaseid=R259835&formatcnt=0&libid=0&typeid=-1&dateid=-1&formatid=-1&source=-1&fileid=381545

That is a driver package from dell.

Just follow the instructions and you should be good.

If you have anymore questions, you may contact me through here.

Thanks,

Ijust closed the lid on my dell e5510 laptop and now i can connect to wifi, there has never been a problem before.

Don't overlook the obvious and ensure you didn't accidentally turn off the wireless switch. I do it about once a month myself.
