Hi, I try to connect my PS2 to LCD TV and its has no color. The TV is LG and I tried the with SCART and with those holes on the side of TV (yelow, red and white). The strange is that when I start the console the "welcome" screen is in color and when starts the game it is B/W.

Many LG LCD TV models have also connections at one side, usually the right hand side watching at the TV from the back. Some model may have a protective panel. Standard connections on LG include AV cables, HDMI (depending on model), SCART (depending on model), USB (all new models), audio, VGA, diagnostic etc.

The precise settings depend on the TV model. Please post a new Fixya question including the TV model. The model number is printed on a sticker at the back of the TV.

your ps2 came with an adapter to change mono plugs at the end of ps2 leads into a scart socket

check for any conections on side of tv

I have a sony bravia lcd digital color tv. I want to know how to plug in my play station 2? The PS2 has a coaxial cable running from it with a side coaxial connection. Where an how do i connect?

Do you mean a Playstation 2? If so, buy a SCART to component converter (like a SCART plug but with yellow white and red inputs) Put it in one of the SCART sockets and plug in your PS2. Hope that helps...

Which version of the PS2 do you have (NTSC or PAL)?
And same question about the TV?

try setting your tv's color the way you want it but the problam with that is you have to reset it every time you switch to tv to ps2...

this may be caused by the connection or the age of the PS2, try a regualar AV Cable/Scart Cable and see if that works, if not, contact SONY.

i cant see any problem with the connections. have you tried to connect the dvdr along with sky to another tv set? and did the same problem occured? if not, try connecting it the same way with another tv. and see if thesame problem would occur. if the same problem appears check if the connections from sky to dvdr scart if it is loose or not. try to clean the solid wire of the cable. if proble still persists dvdr is faulty. if not, defenitely there is a problem with the tv. and i suggest for you to have it checked.
