Who ever told you that is a ****, start n stop are tied into the power of the turntables motor etc. if you plug the turntable in turn it on n hit start. it should start. if not who ever sold it to you made a BS lie to get rid of them cause the motor was burnt out. start n stop have nothing to do with the mixer what so ever. so try just hooking up the turntable and turn the power on. see if anything lights up then his the start button and see if the platter starts to move if not its your motor.

HI I have a PMX8 channel mixer and it suddenly stopped having sound output. It powers on but there is no sound.

Edited question for clarity and spelling.

Remove all the sound input leads from the back and remake them. You also need to test that whatever is supplying the music is actually working. You can also try adding a new sound source. This is a made in China unit that is badged to the name of the seller. Videos in the link.

Faulty car dealers

I doubt it as it was sold "as is" meaning that you accept responsibility for everything that is wrong with it. Having said that and not seeing the paper work needed for the transaction and what the seller told you there may be a case of misrepresentation because of what the seller said or inferred. Find a sharp legal council and discuss aspects of a possible claim

I want to hook my dex and a mixer into my motu 2408 mk2.. the mixer is working coz i can hear the mic,, but theres no sound getting into the computer from the decks.. ive even tried hooking the decks

Hello,
Have you installed the driver for it? Look for the DVD that came with it and install it. After installing the driver, update it. You can use RadarSync to automate the updating process of your computer.

Pioneer cdj-1000 mk2 sound issue

Diconnnect the player from the mixer, hook directly to your receiver or amplifier, now try it out, if nothing! replace the audio cords from the player to the receiver/amp, power up both units, hopefully this will work.

My cuisinart 5.5 stand mixer when you press the on button it starts for a second then it stops.

Make sure the plug is securely plugged into the wall.
Next, remove and reattach any mixing arms etc that may be attached to the mixer. Having one not attached properly can result in a start, start.
If problem persistes make sure the speed is reset.

If problem continues, here is an excerpt from the user manual found here.

http://www.cuisinart.com/share/pdf/manuals/sm-55.pdf

Problem: Your stand mixer has an
overload protection device and if
overloaded, it will shut down to protect
the motor.
Solution: In the unlikely even that this
happens:
• Turn off and unplug the unit.
• Reduce the load by removing some of
the ingredients, and allow the mixer to
stand for a few minutes.
Plug in and reset the speed. If the
stand mixer does not start when you
press the on button, allow the unit to
stand for additional time.

If you are still having trouble, the product comes with a 3 year limited warranty, so if you're bought it within the last 3 years it may be covered.

Good Luck!

How do i go about connecting the alesis monitor one mk2's to my my laptop? i do not have an amp and there are no cables or connectors with the speakers when they arrive

You can without an amp in between. They are non-powered speakers and need an amp to drive them. If you connect your laptop to a mixer, mixer to an amp, then amp to speakers THEN they will work.

Technics 1200, no sound out right speaker

And it will be. I can almost steak my life on it. Easy to replace. Most djs had to already. Most off us went to Radio Shack and bought the 6 foot gold RCA's and cut them in half for both decks. Its not that hard to do. Any problems message me.

No sound from CDJ-800 MK2

Are you getting error messages? Running in thru LINE? Is not on mute? The possiblity of both not playing would lead to process of elimination.

Keep me posted.

Technic 1200 mk2 turntable wont spin

need to know if it powers up. Does it try to spin, do you hear it trying to spin? More than likely the on/off switch went bad. No, I am not referring to the ON/OFF knob. THere is a switch this engages when turned. The part is S601. You might also want to replace the Start/Stop switch as well. If neither work, then the issue is on the main PC board, and probably IC101, or IC201 with the problem. At this stage, you will have to have a service tech look at your unit.
