I have panasonic 1.5 window AC model no. CW-XC-184BY. When the problem started, the cooling started only after about 20 minutes delay and cooling was good. Now the cooling starts and stops within 1 or 2 minutes. The remote is working. What is the solution

Check the coolant. It must be depleted. Requires a refill.

Is it worth investing on Panasonic cube AC now? OR should I wait till performance feedbacks are available?

Dear All, After looking at the ads and influenced by the Reliance Digital Marketing Team unfortunately I bought 1.25 Ton Pansonic Cube AC for my House. The Model is disastrous and I am not even getting minimum cooling even though they promised that it will give 1.5 times more cooling than traditional ACs. The Air circulation is also not there even if we sit in front of the AC. When I contacted the service people from Reliance Resq and Panasonic..they are simply saying that the Air will flow straight only..in that case they asked me to fit the AC at 1 Ft height from Floor i.e parallel to my Bed. Which looks much more awkward in the Bed Room. It is better to go for Window AC than fitting this AC at 1 ft height.Air coolers available in the bazaar are better than this product. I feel that I have wasted Rs. 17000/- by investing in it. My suggestion to all of u is Better to buy a USHA Ceiling fan than buying a CUBE model Shashidhar

I turned on my AC. The compressor sounded like it was straining and the fan wouldn't go on, then compressor went off. But the green powwer light was still on on the plug. I turned it off, unplugged it....

I am guessing it is a window or wall unit right? not central AC? If thats the case, how old is it? New? can u return it? if not, if its older than 4 or 5 years, trash it and get a new one! If the fan isnt working after a few seconds or minutes the compressor will over heat and shut off, its not worth repairing

Can coolant be added to Panasonic AC CW-C101MU? Instruction plz.

this can be done if your a good hand at soldering. You need to put a inlet valve in the unit so you can put freon in this is kind of a tricky job most of the time it's easier to take it to the repair shop and let them put the valve on then after that you can recharge the freon on your own..........I hope this was helpful...... : )

I makes a very loud noise

Had same problem with Ge AC. Unplug take out of window and remove all cover screws. Pull up on cover and pull cover off ac, Remove front cover as well there are a couple screws in the front. When looking at front of ac, hit the Styrofoam housing towards your left (towards control panel). Spin fan blade to make sure that it is clear. Plug in to double check. I put a couple quarters between the styrofoam and the metal housing, so it would not slide back. Also tape the styrofoam between the seams this helps with better cooling. Use some good tape nothing cheap. I used black duck tape. It took about 20 mins. The hardest part is re installing the AC.
