Re: My ps3 has an error 80710092 how do i fix it
- Change your DNS settings manually on the PS3 via XMB > Network Settings > Internet Connection Settings > Manual. Just allow the default entries until you get to dns, select manual and change it to 8.8.8.8 for the main dns and 8.8.4.4 for the secondary dns.
- Go to your router settings, select dmz and add your ps3 IP address to the list and select apply. You can see your ps3 IP address in XMB > Network Settings > Settings and Connection Status list.
- Change the password for your PSN account. The easiest way to do so it to log in via their website on a computer.
- Restart your ps3, sign in using your new password and you should be good to go :)
