I have a Fujifilm E900 and I think that i have either dropped my camera or water has been spilt on it. The screen isnt cracked but when the camera turns on, 3/4's of the screen is white with a massive black mark spread over the top of it. then the bottom quarter is perfectly fine, just i cant see or aim to take picures. Plus i think the zoom has stopped working too, as it only zooms so far but not to the full extent that i know it can.

Consider NOT connecting your camera to your computer.
The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.
Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use Windows Photo Gallery or any other photo cataloging program.
if the screen is turning on then you should be fine just take it to the apple store and ask for them to fix it if the screen is working it shouldent cost you as much for when the screen isnt turning on at all
The support desk at Fujifilm got me to insert new batteries (rechargables) and try again. The batteries did not die but in the viewer, the picture is very bright (white) and has close horizonal lines running across the picturere. They want me to send it in by registered post (cost to me), only give a quote after inspecting it - which is far enough, but if I don't go ahead with the repairs, it will cost me $40 to get the camera back (as if it would be any good to me). Their web site states that the average repair is about $120, but it could be lots more. When I paid nearly $700 for the thing I expected it to last more than just over a year.
I rang several camera repairers who all told me that the only place that can repapir Fujifilm is Fuji themselves. This is not good and I won't be buying another Fujifilm again.

Take IPA or strong alcohol and a teeth brush and clean the mainboard and the sub-board. NOT LCD.
