Open the printer cover and access the cartridge area. Remove both cartridges. While the cover is open, check for any obstructions in the cartridge carrier's path. Check for any loose transparent strip (encoder strip). If cartridge area clear from these, Close the cover. Unplug and replug the printer into the power source to reset it. When the printer turns on, open the printer cover and reinsert the cartridges. Close the cover and try to print again.

My acer Z5700 computer wont keep a disc in it keep ejecting it

hi Cheryl.
Try cleaning the lens inside the drive with a q tip or something of the like or an optical drive cleaner.
You could try to take it apart and find the obstruction.
You could open it and spray compressed air into it and hope it removes the obstruction.
try getting a laser cleaning disk to clean the lens inside.
or this could be something else wrong with it.
just let me know if the above works first.

Line in card

Take isopropyl alcohol and a clean cloth and clean the printehead of the printer. The printhead is located on the top lid of the printer and has a green and black appearance. Take clean isopropyl moistened cloth and swipe gently across left to right the black portion of the printhead. There may be residue on the printhead obstructing the heat transfer of ribbon to card which cleaning fix.

Worst case the printhead has one or more bad elements (pixels). The printhead is an expensive repair (Parts and Labor) so you may examine your options on repair or trade-in on purchase of a new printer.

Where is pressure switch on a wmf740

I think you mean F05, in which case it means that the pressure switch is jammed on full.
You need to remove lower rear panel of washer.
Remove large black hose on bottom of drum.
Remove and clean filter inside hose.
Remove hose onto pump, and check for blockage or obstruction here as well, and look inside the pump.
This should solve your problem.

My washer stopped mid cycle and wouldnt drain or spin or anything. The error message is "nd". Can I fix it myself? thanks

Hi

ND=-no drain error.
Remove the back panel you will see the pump. Simply remove the pump and remove the obstruction that is keeping it from draining. Check for thongs, baby socks and sometimes hair pins or even screws can obstruct the water pump. There's going to be some water left in the pump and drain hose, so get a large towel ready. Remove screws attaching black piece (motor) to white piece (housing), pull out motor and clean the housing and motor impeller. Reverse steps to assemble it back together. If you don't hear pump running after completing the cleaning, you may need to check the wiring and/or replace main control board located inside the console. If the pump seems to be running but no water is being drained - replace pump.

Please get back to us if you have further query else please accept the suggestion.

The oil indicator is very low and when I speed up it goes up when I slow down it goes down and the chek gauges light comes up. It has plenty of oil how can I fix it

First thing you need to do is have the actual pressure verified by attaching a mechanical oil pressure gauge in place of the sending unit on your engine. If the gauge verifies your dash readings then you have an oil pressure loss inside the engine that needs further diagnosis (worn bearings, obstructed pump pickup etc). If pressure drops enough to turn the light on I would not drive it 'till you know exactly what's happening inside or you can and will have an engine failure.
One warning...if after you remove the pan, you find that the pump screen is not obstructed, Don't blame the pump for the low pressure.....check the bearings. However, regardless of what you find (obstruction or worn bearings) it is advisable to replace the pump. Pumps generally don't fail but ingesting debris (carbon or metal from bearings) will either score or wear the pump housing and vanes enough so that the pump will never reach full pressure.
If the external gauge shows normal pressure, contrary to what the dash gauge tells you, blow out the sender passageway and replace the sender, then add marvel oil at each oil change as it will help dissolve any crud accumulated inside the oil system.
