I have a Indesit IDL 600 S dishwasher. Yesterday a cycle there was unfortunatly a power failure. I am now, unable to get the machine to regain any of it's cycles, it just remains stuck in it's first position (light one on) and will go no further. Is there a way I am able to reset the machine? Many thanks

SOURCE: flashing green light on my indesit dishwasher

Put some towels dowm and tip the dishwasher over to one side about 45 degrees, if water pours out of the base it means that the dishwasher is in "flood mode" and you have a leak into the base that will need resolving.
Thanks

Had a similar problem (flashing lights 1 and 2). Drained the machine by diconnecting the outlet hose and using a shallow bowl on the floor. Removed and cleaned filters. Forced clean water through by using a garden hose pipe(you can only do this one way, you cannot force water down the outlet pipe). Removed and cleaned the pump (you have to do this from under the machine but easy enough). Finally ensuring the waste trap under the sink was clear. Bingo!! No parts, no expensive engineer.

If he Dishes Are Not Clean:

- Have you put the right amount of detergent into the dispenser?

- Is the wash cycle suitable for the dishes you have placed inside the
appliance?
- Are the filter and microfilter clean?

- Can the sprayer arms turn freely?

This is how the manual helps.

Refer the user guide for the error meaning. Switch off the machine and try.

Ndesit IDL 535 DW, not cycling, water coming from under unt.

The washer is fitted with an anti flood device that detects water leaks and closes water inlet valve and puts washer in pump out mode. The anti flood device is a polystireen float with micro switch at the bottom floor of the washer. Dry the water and find the leak (pipe or pipe clamp) and this should then solve the error.

Dishwasher fault codes

the heating element is probably bad.
i have a idl 600 here in naples italy and it would fill up and go into alarm light 2 and 4 and pump out the water.
heating element cost 28 euro and i changed it out.
had to change the clamps as well.
if you ohm the element it should show about 100 ohms.
if it is open its bad.
the mother board does some checks and if anything fails it alarms out and drains the water after a few minuts

you may be in "flood mode". there may be a leak into the base. or your bottom base hoses may be blocked, best get someone in who is able to strip a d/w base out.
