Most likely the actual charger unit has failed and is not supplying power to the cable or LED, therefore no charging will be possible. Buy a new charger unit.

As long as Samsung does not offer a new update for the firmware, you cant' update. When you are smart enough to write your own firmware, you could flash that into the camera, but then you did not need to ask this question. For this camera Samsung did not offer an update yet.

Did the machine get powered off during the upgrade. ?

Was it the correct firmware ?
Go to the samsung site and get old firmware and try loading that on.

That's a screen fault, needs replacing. As its new, I would take it back to the vendor and request a replacement under warranty.

Mine just did the same thing. It is frozen on and stopped working while I was trying to change the flash setting. Even the image of what I was pointing at is stuck on the screen. Mine is only about 3 months old. I tried holding down the power button and it did nothing. Taking the battery out and putting it back in worked. I hope this doesn't happen again!
