Your computer is not recognizing your Archos Vision A14VG Digital Media Player? The computer should be able to recognize it because your digital media player is compatible with the three major operating systems: Windows, Mac and Linux. Maybe a Firmware or driver update will help.
If the computer still doesn't recognize your device, Try these websites to see if the device may need a firmware or driver update from there.

If your computer is still not recognizing it, try connecting your device to a desktop PC. If the desktop PC recognizes your device, then the problem is coming from the USB ports on your laptop. They may not have the amount of power needed for the device to connect to your laptop. If the PC desktop doesn't recognize the device, then the problem is that one of the drivers in the Archos is defective (not working anymore). Once that happens, the only way the device can work again is if the defective driver gets replaced. If your warranty for the product is still in effect, send the product back to its manufactuer and have them look at it. I hope this is just a driver updating issue. Thank you for choosing FixYa to assist you with your problem. Have a good day evening or night; whatever time of day you are viewing this.
