Hi, I need the battery for motorla L301 chrodless phone. The battery unit contains 2xAAA chargeable Ni-MH, but they are packed and sealed so that it gives 2.4V700mAH. Getting AAA 1.2V700mAH is not difficult, but they are soldered with the connector. Any idea where do I get? or How to make? Pl note, soldering on a battery is not advicible. I prefer a pre fabricated battey with 700mAH or more capacity.

SOURCE: can't use chargeable batteries

If your camera doesn't work with NiMH, then it's most likely that you have either one or more bad atteries, or your camera is defective. p. 6 from the user guide: "..Ni-MH batteries left unused in storage for long periods can become ?deactivated?. Also, repeatedly charging Ni-MH batteries that are only partially discharged can cause them to suffer from the ?memory effect?. Ni-MH batteries that are ?deactivated? or affected by ?memory? suffer from the problem of only providing power for a short time after being charged. To prevent this problem, discharge and recharge them several times using the camera?s ?Discharging rechargeable batteries? function. By repeating this cycle several times, the temporary reduction in performance caused by ?memory? or ?deactivation? can be remedied and the batteries can be restored to their original performance levels. ..." I lost the battery charger for the BigFoot toy. Can I buy one?

I know you can get these on Ebay. Also most NI-MH 9 volt battery charges will charge this battery pack. You can use a 9 Volt Snap Battery Connector with Alligator Clips to bridge the connection between the battery pack and the NI-MH 9 volt batter charger. This is how I charge this battery pack now. You can probably get the 9 Volt Snap Battery Connector with Alligator Clips at a radio shack or on Amazon... as well as a NI-MH 9 volt battery charger.. don't hook up the leads backwards :)

New Laptop Battery Use Tips

Taking Care Of Your New Battery Pack

Normally, a new battery pack comes in a very low charge condition and must be fully charged before use. Refer to the user manual of your portable electronic equipment for charging instructions.

A new laptop battery pack needs to be fully charged and fully discharged or “cycled” as much as five times to condition them into performing at full capacity.

Your equipment may report a fully charge condition in as short as 10 to 15 minutes when the new battery pack is being charged for the first time. This is a normal phenomenon especially for Nickel Cadmium (Ni-Cad) and Nickel Metal Hydride (Ni-MH) chemistries. When this happens, remove the Dell xps m1530 Battery pack and let it cool down for about fifteen minutes then repeat the charging procedure.

“Conditioning” (fully discharging and then fully charging) is necessary so as to maintain the optimum performance of a battery pack, and is recommended at least once a month particularly for Ni-Cad and Ni-MH batteries. Failure to do so could result in reduced charge capacity and can significantly shorten the battery pack’s useful life. Lithium Ion batteries do not require conditioning.

It is normal for a battery pack to get warm when charging and during use. However, if the dell Inspiron 2650 Battery pack gets excessive hot, there may be a problem with the portable electronic equipment’s charging circuit and should therefore be checked by a qualified technician.

Rechargeable batteries undergo self-discharging when left unused for long periods of time. This is normal particularly in the case of Ni-MH and Li-Ion chemistries. For best results, always store a battery pack fully charged. It should be removed from the equipment and kept in a cool, dry and clean place.

The amount of runtime a dell inspiron 8600 battery produces depends on the power requirements of components in your electronic equipment. This could be the hard drive setting, screen intensity and back-lighting on notebook computers, the liquid crystal display (LCD) screen and floodlight feature in a video camcorder, or the tri-mode communications network of a cellular phone. Always refer to your equipment’s user manual for power management settings.

What kind of batteries do I need? can I use duracel Ni-MH rechargables?

The operating manual specifies to use only Ni-MH AAA batteries and warns to not use Alkaline/Manganese/Ni-Cd batteries. Panasonic web site lists replacement batteries at 19.95 for a pair.
Duracel Ni-MH AAA batteries will be fine.

How can the Panasonic drill Ni-mh battery be rated at 15.6V? It contains 12 cells. Isn't all Ni-mh cells rated at 1.2V? Are there 1.3V cells available? Where can I purchase cells to rebuild my battery?

13*1,2v=15,6 v. There may even be cells located inside the part of the battery pack that is protruding inside the stem of the drill. Could this be the case here? Battery cells can easily be found on Ebay, although good quality cell are quite expensive. You can also try your local hobby/model-plane-car-boat dealer, which usually have a good stock of battery cells. Make sure it is the type with soldering lugs, and that they match you charger. I.e Nicad vs NiMh vs li-ion and so on

Battery level always shows as low, even when new, charged batteries are placed in the unit.

Hello

Thank you for using FixYa for your problem

Always check the batteries first but if is it still giving the same fault, your camera is faulty.
It should be taken to an authorized repair centre for a repair estimate. Very few digital cameras have any user-serviceable parts.

Please rate our solutions and if you still have problems please call back for more ideas to help you

LCD IS NOT WORKING WHEN CHARGEABLE BATTERIES IS PUT IN THE BP300 GRIP

ni-cad or ni-mh rechargeable batteries all have charging cycle life and will fall in effeciency. in saying that, batteries used for some time will be not be as powerful as the new ones, and over or under charged batteries also wouldn't give you expected power.

i guess the CR123A you replaced is a new one, so it has the desirable voltage and current.

LCD itself and the driver actually do not require a lot of power, but the camera does, which draws away from the battery.

Type of batteries

Olympus recommends the use of Nickel-Metal Hydride (Ni-MH) rechargeable batteries or Olympus CR-V3 (LB-01) long-life disposable lithium batteries. The batteries are only used to power the camera. The print engine in the C-211 Zoom is powered by a battery pack self-contained inside each Polaroid® Type 500™ film pack.
