Anyone know how to change the decimal place on a ti BA II , not a BA II plus? there is no function ket on a ba II

1. Press the 2nd button.3
2. Press the Format button. (This is the second function on the . button).4
3. Enter the number of decimal places to show 0-9.5
4. Press the Enter button.

2nd [format] 4 enter thats 4 decimal places which should be enough for any question

Press 2nd [FORMAT], type a digit representing the number of digits you want after the decimal point (or 9 for floating), then press ENTER 2nd [QUIT].

Your BA II PLUS stores numeric values internally to an accuracy of 13 digits. However, the numbers it displays depends on the number of decimal places to which you have it set (choice of 0–9 or floating decimal). To set the number of decimal places displayed to three: hit [2ND][FORMAT][3][ENTER]This setting also continues indefinitely (even though the calculator is turned off and on) until it is changed.

Hit "Fix" then the number of decimal places you want.

Set the +43210F switch to + (or 2).
On some models it is A43210F, then use A (or 2).
+ mode will let you enter numbers (monetary) without the decimal point and assumes cents; 2 mode will just round to 2 decimals, but you must enter the decimal.
