With the advent of the Megapixel camera , our photo's that we take are getting bigger and bigger. This is all good to have a nice and big resolution picture , but the trouble comes in when you try to e-mail a 4Mb picture on a limited internet connection.
There is lots of software out there that can re-size a picture or photo , but I prefer and recommend Pixresizer because its free and really easy to use.
Download Pixresizer
HEREOnce downloaded , unzip the program and install it to your computer. If you do not have software to unzip it , please download winrar
HERE.
Now open the program.
You have a choice of converting multiple files or a single file at a time.I'll be demonstrating how to convert a few files at the same time. The concept is the same for converting a single file.
Click on the "work with multiple files" tab.
- Select the folder where the photo's which you want to resize are located .
- Select the folder where the resized files are saved.
- Move the size dragging scale to select desired size.
- Select the output format (Jpeg is fine)
- Finally Save Pictures.
And that's all. I now converted 7.8Mb of photo's to only 200Kb which is a much more appropriate size for sending in a e-mail.
Please remember to rate this tip if your find it helpful.
