Used the printer all of last year., this year when opening up cabin the computer is saying no software for the priniter. any ideas

How is the printer connected to your computers? If it is connected to the network, your router may have changed the I.P. address for the printer. Try reinstalling the printer using the latest driver software on each computer If you need the software, see https://support.ricoh.com/bb/html/dr_ut_e/rc3/model/spc430/spc430.htm .

I know that I had to reinstall the network drivers for my printers after changing routers. The two routers used different default router I.P. addresses and thus assigned I.P. addresses in unique ranges. The computers didn't get the data on the change until the software searched for the printers.

Checked that printer is installed Control panel > Printer Section.
If yes, Then it seems you need to restart your laptop and the Printer once.

Checked again now, it should print.

the reason why the printer is giving you that error msg is because the all in one center is not communicating properly with the programs on your computer to your printer.

try to scan directly to your computer using the all in one center instead.

print a demo sheet. Press copy and photo at the same time. Look at the eyes on the two kids in the picture, if they're coming out all white, your printhead is clogged. Do a printhead cleaning, if that doesn't work, call kodak, you need a printhead.

Usually when this happens to me I can just push the stack of paper in towards the printer and it will grab the paper.
