Toshiba 14DLV75 14 in. TV/DVD Combo Logo
Anonymous Posted on May 21, 2011

My daughter put the blue ray DVD into the Toshiba 14DLV75 instead of the regular DVD and now it won't eject it. It just keeps spinning like it wants to eject, but won't. How can I get it out?

Hello
Just switch OFF the set by its front panel power control switch, and then switch it On and press the eject button without any delay. Sometimes the tray will eject, and try to close. If so switch OFF the front panel power switch, while it is out, and take away the blu-ray disc. the switch it On. All will be ok then.

I wasn't able to get it out with the answer above, but I was able to jiggle an extended paperclip into the slot while pressing eject and the blue ray disc slipped right out...saw that solution posted earlier by someone else...so thank you!

My factory DVD player will except disc the ejects it

If I understand your rather cryptic post correctly...

This very well could be a Blue-Ray disk loaded into a
non-Blue-Ray capable DVD player. Your car player's capabilities MUST match the disc, otherwise, the disc won't play.

I've run into this very same problem with my home DVD players. Which both are non-Blue-Ray capable, but I was able to verify the Blue-Ray discs on my PC.

Disc won't eject

Dirty or damaged disk. remove screws in back of player (carefully) and gently slide disc out, do not force. Or take player back to store and ask them to fix or replace it.

My toshiba BDXK100 won't play DVDs other than Blu-Ray

There may be a issue with the assembly, blu-ray plays with more precision and speed, for some reason it is not slowing down to play the regular DVD's may be a padder motor problem.

Hello
The noise is actually a product of dust from a blue ray disc.Over time these discs heat up and leave a residue on the blue ray lens.
Try using a lens cleaner to remove dirt and clean lens.
Also i read an article that using a wireless controler can also cause freezing of the blue ray.

possible cause is hardware compatibility. But if your unit was been played it before, then try re-scan your system with antivirus.

Toshiba sd-4990 dvd player will not load a disk

Your toshiba is not spinning that's why it keeps on saying loading. Unplug the dvd Open the device, once open plugin the dvd and put the dvd cleaner in the player. take your finger on the top where the dvd disk is and spin the disk. What happening is that you are cleaning the len. keep spinning until it spin on its own.Put the toshiba top back on and clean again. It should clean on it's on. Now you can play your dvd. Clean your dvd on a regular basic.
