My nokia 5130 xpress music asks for certificates when i download from ovi store. Its displays "no certificate on phone or sim" . Please suggest how to get user certificates.

Not aware of the 100% solution and never faced such problem too.. but try updating / re-installing the firmware.

1st solution goto google and search nokia content ca valid untill and click to digicert and download some certificate and enjoyed.
2nd:use ur nokia pc suit and connect ur n5130 and got pcsuit options/menu u see settings and click it u goto security setting certificate management and ur download certificate install it

Hello Sachin,

You can try this:

Make sure your GPRS is active. Go to menu then select phone settings, then select phone update:

1. Update via packet data
2. Update via bluetooth.

Select option 1 and wait for any outcome and then accept it..

If that doesn't work, contact Nokia from your country and ask them to send the certificate to you.

When i want to doenload any softwere. one disply massage arrives "certificate not avaliable."
hi, your phone is certificate protected, it will not allow you to install applications that does not have a geniue Certificate...what that means is that you will only download from site that are up to standard i.e site that keeps Applications and Softwear with valid certificate....You can get some free Applications in Ovi Stores...
