SOURCE: Bought used camera Sony Cyber

You can use Memory Stick standard, pro or pro duo up to 2GB with the Camera.

A dedicated adapter (MSAC-M2) must be attached to use Memory Stick Duoâ„¢ or MagicGate Memory Stick Duo media.

I have provided the Memory Stick compatibility chart for your reference.

Hi, The shutter on my sony dsc - p73 will not open all of a sudden is there any hope of being able to sort this?

I'm sorry that the shutter of the sony dsc - p73 will not open. I suggest that you perform a power reset and check the operation.

Performing a manual power reset
  1. Turn off the camera.
  2. Remove the battery pack.
  3. Remove the button-sized lithium battery.
  4. Allow the camera to remain without power for 30 seconds.
  5. Reinsert the button-sized lithium battery.
  6. Reinsert the battery pack.
  7. Turn on the camera
If the issue is not resolved, service will be requred.

Camcorders that run on 3 AAA bateries, how long do the batteries last????

I assume we're not discussing the Sony DSC-W55 since that doesn't use AAA batteries.
The battery life varies depending both on the camcorder and the type of batteries. In general, lithiums will last longer than alkalines, which will last longer than a single charge on NiMHs. On cameras that give you the option, you'll use less juice shutting off the display and using the viewfinder. Many manuals will give you estimates of battery life, but these are estimates only, the battery life also depends on how YOU use your camcorder.

Kodak easyshare c613

Are you using Lithium batteries?

Most Kodak models are only happy running on Lithium batteries.

I have two Kodak cameras, both had various power-related problems. Since using Lithium batts, not a single glitch.

They are more expensive, but they end up costing less compared to the amount of alkaline batts replaced.

Worth a try.

Wont stay on

I just contaced Sony support for the exact same problem. If you're able to power the camera on in VIEW mode, open the rubber tab to expose the USB and DC In connections, directly above that there is a small RESET button. Get a paperclip and push and hold the button until the camera resets itself. This fixed my problems, hope it will fix yours!
