Hi,

This means the touch pad sense a stuck or shorted key. Try pushing in all the keys to make sure there not stuck. If not, the touch pad needs to be replaced.

The screws around the door come out and the assembly will slide forward. All plug and play type connections and a few 1/4 screws. The repair is really straight forward. Good luck with your repair friend

How do you reset a KitchenAid dishwasher model: KUDE70FXSS4?

Press High Temp Scrub and Dry Heat option buttons in quick succession one after the other for about 6 sec until all the lights come on. Then press Cancel button. This should reset the dishwasher. Press equivalent buttons on the panel if the actual ones above are not there.
Make sure the dishwasher detergent dispenser lid is shut and the dishwasher door is shut before you start the above reset sequence.

Hello, Thank You for using FixYa. I will be helping you today.Try pressing heated dry,Normal,Heated dry,Normal and all lights should come on if they do wait like 5 seconds and hit cancel and see if the unit will start. If this happens again it may be a heating issue.

I have a Kitchen Aid KUDKO1ILBS1 which is constantly blinking clean. I have replaced the circuit board once because the capacitors were bulging blown out. After replacing the board the dishwasher has a...

Hi

If the clean light flashes 7 times, pauses, then repeats...

When the dishwasher doesn't sense a water temperature increase, it stops working and locks the functions (clean light flashes 7 times, all buttons are non responsive). It does this as a safety in case the element is broken and feeding electrical current into the water.

To resolve this you will have to reset the console. Do this by closing the door and press these buttons in sequence...

-high temp wash
-heated dry
-high temp wash
-heated dry

...all the lights will turn on briefly and the machine will start a diagnostic cycle. You can press cancel or let the diagnostic cyle finish (1-2 minutes).
You should now be able to run the dishwasher as normal.

If the issue returns, you could have a problem with the heating circuit (ie. element, thermostat or wiring).
It rarely happens but it could also be the door switch not engaging properly when the door is closed (slightly bend the door latch down making sure it doesn't hit the door when you close it).

Thanks Daniel

My normal cycle and cancel button lights are blinking on my kitchenaid dishwasher. Model # KUDP02CR8S2 Any suggestions?

Probably a keypad gone bad. Try replacing the keypad.

There is a troubleshooting guide behind the foot kick panel. It gives a sequence to test for a bad keypad. You can try that sequence to be sure.

Cancel light and rinse only light keep blinking and wont start

Hello,

Hopefully you have resolved your issue. I have not heard of the cancel light flashing issue. I have had problems with the clean light flashing seven times over and over and the control panel will not operate. Here is the solution to that. Maybe it will work for your issue as well.

Open dishwasher door,
Push Hi Temp Scrub button,
Push Saver Dry button,
Push Hi Temp Scrub button again,
Push Saver Dry button again,
All lights on control panel will come on.
Close dishwasher door,
Push Baked on Cookware or Normal Button.
Dishwasher should start and complete cycle.

It is good if you have kids that play video games. Their fingers are used to pushing buttons quickly. I guess this resets the control board. The service guy let me have this info as I used to deliver appliances and work on them somewhat.Hope this helps.

Good Luck,
Tom
