Hold the M button until CL appears; continue to hold for 10 seconds, when released CL should "flash." While flashing hit M again and stored test data will clear.
Go back & check thoroughly that you ARE following the instructions properly & that the buttons you're pushing are actually making proper contact. (ie. you can actually hear them clicking when they make contact.?) It's the first time you've done this, so you might be making a tiny mistake, which is stopping the process working. If all else fails.... take the batteries out & leave it for a couple of hours, to let the capacitors drain. This may clear the memory for you.? Best of luck.
To erase the monitor's memory, press and hold the "M" button until the letters "CL" appear on the screen. Release and press the "M" button again. The monitor will beep twice, indicating that the memory is now empty.
