You just need to collect the cold pipe- the washer does the heating itself for hot washes. It uses the water cold for rinses ;-0)
And for a manual-
you will need to type into your search engine/web browser '(make) washer manual' and you should be presented with a number of sources from which you can either download for free or have to pay a nominal amount. During the process you will be asked for the actual model number!
Have you interchanged the hot and the cold water valve? Check your installation. If the installation is correct, the hot water valve might be the problem. You probably need to replace it with a new one.
It is likely the softener feed funnel may be blocked.Remove detergent drawer and push forward middle softener console. It should lift revealing a narrow funnel. Rinse funnel thoroughly in hot water.
take out the soap drawer clean in hot water inside the machine where you took the soap drawer out at the top look for the hole where the water runs out it may be blocked with mildew dettox mildew spray is very good at breaking all that down spray in leave for a while put soap draw back in and do a wash without clothing as spray contains bleach
Remove top and check that they are your fill vaulves. Your hoses should be connected to them if so.If they are leaking on inside of machine when off then they need replacing.
Can be connected to both but connecting it to the hot water would make for a shorter and more economical cycle - no need to wait for the water inside the washer to be heated.
If there is only 1 water connection on the back of the machine then it's a cold water supply only and the machine will be fitted with a heater element to heat the water. If it has 2 water connections then you need the hot supply and should ask someone to fit the correct isolation valve on the capped pipe so you can fit the required hose. Most modern machines are cold water only.
