Re: Normally all thes phone call the standard ext 101 if...
You have to do that in the pabx setting where by you set all out going calls to be calling direct but all incoming calls to be calling to the switchboard first so change the call restriction feature

When you find the right phone (usually ext 101) you'll be able to press PROG and dial **1234. Pick program number 004 and ENTER a couple of times and you'll be looking at the name for extension 101. There's a TDA Operating Manual that will give you a little bit more help. Here's one http://public.carl.airpost.net/misc/200_TDA_OM_10-11.pdf Page 188 is the key sequence, using the character entry guide on page 50, once you do one, you'll figure out how to step through the entry using the letters buttons and the right arrow key if the character is the same.
Please rate this solution and acknowledge that you got the manual. It won't be here after the end of the month.
depending on programming restrictions: at ext 101 1) press "PROG" 2) "**" 3) the user programming password (most likely "1234") 4) "004" 5) "ENTER" 6) enter the extension number you wish to change 7) txt out the name (you must use the direction pad in the bottom right corner of your phone if you have 2 letters in a row that are on the same key) 8) press the "AUTO DIAL/STORE" button 9) lift hand set and hang up
Changing the time on a Partner system is done on either ext 10 or 11. At one of those ext's press the feature key and "00" next press the left hand intercom twice the display should say system programming enter in "#103" the display should say system time and the current programmed time enter the new time in 24 hour format To change the date enter #101 the display will say system date and the current programmed date enter in the new date in MMDDYY format press feature "00" to logout
As far as setting up the extensions, I'm going to need a little more specific info to help.
Correct, but the system did. Time is usually set in 2 ways, by the CID info passed to the lines in the first call after 2:00 AM, or by setting it from the phone connected to the first jack (usually ext 101).
Depending on your system without picking up your handset, you can try pressing PROGRAM and dial 0yymmddwhhmm0/1 STORE where yy is year, mm is month, dd is day w is day of week starting with 0=Sunday,hh in 12 hour format mm is minutes and 0/1 is AM or PM.
It's the setting for the TA series phone system that doesn't require the installer password or going into full system programming.
Buy a double adapter so both cords go to the LINE port. Set your answering machine to 6 or 7 rings so the fax picks up first. Your fax machine will know the difference between voice and fax calls,
Hello, I presume that you are using this phone on a 308 or 824 system. You will have to check which line is ringing at the other phone. Is it line 1,2 or 3 ? Say for example it is line 2 you need to do the following: From the main phone / switchboard usually ext 101 press PROGRAM * # and your system password ( default is 1234 ). Now enter 408 and press SP-PHONE. The system now asks you to enter the line and in this example we use line 2 - so enter 2. The display now looks like this CO 2:#01: with ENABLE or DISABLE flickering. (CO 2 is the line number. #01 means extension 101, #02 means ext 102 and soforth.) To enable the line to ring at ext 101 choose ENABLE by pressing the AUTO ANS / MUTE button. Now press AUTO DIAL / STORE to save your changes. Now use the right arrow key ( located at the right bottom corner of the phone ) to move to the extension that you don't want to ring - say for example 106. Your diplay should now look like this CO 2:#06 with ENABLE flickering. Now use the AUTO ANS / MUTE button to set it to DISABLE and press AUTO DIAL / STORE to save your changes. Press PROGRAM to exit program mode.
PLEASE VOTE / RATE MY ANSWER IF THIS WA HELPFUL - THANK YOU.
DIL? It's a term not used in an 824. Incoming ringing is controlled via MC 3.2 or programs 408 and 411 for DAY ringing. Ring delay (411) could alter the ringing even if it's set to ring in 408.
If this is a Panasonic KXTDA50, 100 or 200 it must be done from the programming phone normally ext. 101.
From this phone press the program button, dial *#1234, dial program number 004, press enter, now you dial the ext or scroll with the silver pad to the desired ext. and change the name. Letters are entered just like a cell using the keypad, press enter when done and you can go to the next name. When finished press the exit button a few times to back all the way out.
For Panasonic system (especially for KX-T7633), you have to make changes from extension 101.
1. leave handset in the cradle then press "program".
2. Dial *# then "SP-PHONE" button until you see something like time set something something
3. manually input correct date then time then press "auto dial/store" button.
4. pick up the handset then hang up to save.
