I suggest you to uninstall and reinstall the camera drivers for this webcam. After you uninstall the drivers give your pc a restart and then reinstall the drivers again with the webcam connected.
visit the site of e machine there u can get the driver an software for webcam ,also before trying the to download try to system restore the program before date when u uninstall the program try it may help or then download save an install the software.
Go to the ACER website and download the Device Driver for the WebCam and install it.
Do the following:
1. Navigate to http://www.acer.com.au. 2. Click the Service & Support link at the top/left of the screen. 3. ClickDriver Download 4. SelectNotebook from the Product Family list. 5. SelectAspire from the Product Line list. 6. SelectAspire 6920 from the Product Model list. (scroll through the list to locate). 7. Select the ARROW next to the wordCamera from the Driver list that appears.
This will automatically begin to download. Follow any other on screen instructions when it begins to install.
Hi has the webcam ever worked? If so what happened to stop it working? The webcam on Acer notebooks is part of their Vista software so if you uninstalled by accident you would need to reinstall the application that runs it aswell. Acer notebooks have a useful utility called Acer Erecovery Management which you can use to reinstall. Goto Start, All Programs, Acer Empowering Technology Acer Erecovery Management.

Try disconnecting the Camera from the USB port and reinstall
the software program. When the program asks you to connect the
camera to the USB port, do so and it should work.

Rt click "my computer" go to properties, go to device manager, against imaging devices slect the webcam and uninstall it. Close all the windows and restart the computer and the computer will automatically reinstall the driver that was once installed
