Hello,

Follow these steps and we will get the problem resolved. When you are logged into her facebook page, look at the top right. You want to click on "Account" , then click log out. This should bring you to the login page, where you can input your facebook information. After you login, it should take you to your account.

Am trying to sign up 10 year old daughter to facebook. But my account not recognised. Also was told to get my own parents to verify my account. Hey I'm 73. I been using facebook for at least 3 years....

If you read the terms and conditions, you cannot sign up for Facebook unless you're over the age of 13.

I would say to change the age in order to allow this, however, if someone found out and reported this finding, the account would be banned.

You are best to just wait until your daughter is 13 and try then.

This is an easy fix. If you're using internet explorer, click on tools (Or press Alt+X) and the select "Internet Options". Then, under browsing history, click all the radio boxes and select "Delete". This will allow you to create a Facebook account, however, you will also lose your saved passwords to other websites.
Hope this helps!

I have been sent 2 e-mails telling me my face book acct is being shut down, due to abuse, I don't do anything bad on it, what is the problem

You should check that your account wasn't hacked because if so the hackers may have written the abuse. However Facebook is not organised and super unreliable but if you contact them and they reply then you are lucky. Ask them for details like when you last signed in and if you didn't sign in when they told you then you know someone has hacked into your Facebook account which means you have to try to reset your password or erase your Facebook account permanently as it could cause to dangerous situations.

My 12 year old daughter's facebook and gmail account have both been hacked and the passwords changed, due to them being the same. I'm unable to reset either passwords due to not knowing enough about her...

I'm sorry to say this but you're out of luck. The best thing you can do is inform all of her friends and family about the account being hacked. The worst thing the hacker will do is send them requests about stupid stuff and try to get their information too. So if you see her account posting stuff, do not click it at all or sign into anything they send you.

The only problem is that her facebook account is saved in your system. Try deleting the saved cookies or delete the temporary files from the system. It will surely help.

My daughter came to visit and signed into facebook and it blocked me out and can`t get mine to come up . how can i get mine to come upand still let her bring up her`s with my computer. thanks hammer

if i understand your problem, the solution would ordinarily be to find where it says "account" on the upper right-hand side of the page. there should be an downward-pointing arrow to the right of this word. click on it. a list will appear, and at the bottom should be a "logout" option. if you click that, it will sign you out of your daughter's account, and you will have the option to log back into your own.

your daughter probably selected a checkbox while logging in that keeps you logged into the account for a while (i.e. it remembers your username and password for, say, a month - but just on that computer). you can either choose not to select this box and ask your daughter to do the same - and then type in your email/password every time you want to access facebook, rather than just once. or you can leave this checkbox and stay logged in, and just hit logout before the next person needs to use the computer.
