My co-workers are trying to install the correction tape for the Brother ML100 Standard Electronic Typewriter & have attempted to use the manual's instructions. However, they cannot figure out how to install the ribbon. How should the correction tape be installed & is there an instructional video that I can get ahold of to watch to help my colleagues?

Correction tapes DO have a shelf life, Also make sure the ribbon is moving and very important and this may sound dumb, but I have seen it that the ribbon is not a correction ribon. Are the spool turns orange or yellow? should be. Blue is multistrike and will not correct. Don't know the shelf life of ribbons but they do loose the ability to correct.....Good luck try new supplies..
Make sure that the correction tape is place in the guides one on each side small metal guides, remove ribbon to see, it should be behind ribbon guide (closes to you). Dry lift-off tape only(#3015)
