My phone ringer is off and I don't know how to turnit on

Get an electronic buzzer, and install it on an analog port. Set that port to internal twin with the phones you want to ring, or put it in a hunt group.

A friend of mine had the same problem. The 3.5mm headphone socket was playing up, thinking they were still plugged in. She plugged headphones in and give it a push and a wiggle, then took it out and now it works. Give it a try.

Look for an internal setting that disables the ringer. This can be a ***** because most of us don't bother to customize phones like this and we never keep the manuals.

Check the manufacturer's web site for instructions or a manual.

There could be an external control to turn it down or off. The old 500 phone (black, rotary dial) had a metal dial you could spin to turn down the ringer.

You can always check a residential line by connecting to the demarc where the telco wires end and yours begin. Connect there and call in with your cell phone.If you get through, there but not using house wiring the fault is in wiring you own and you must pay to fix it. Don;t forget to reconnect the house when you are done.

You don't have to unplug anything. Just set the ringer volume (feature code 11) to 0.

Hi! If your phone is a cordless phone than you should know that the "#" key have a double function. Just press and hold this button "#" and the silence mode will turn on/off.

Hold down the pound key (#) until it goes away.

To increase the volume for the ringer, the volume buttons located on the charging stand can adjust the volume. To change the ringer volume on the phone instead of using the stand, go to the menu on the phone and type 1 then 1 again. This will take you to the ringer volume screen. You can select between the options:{1}: Low {2}: Medium {3}: {0}: Off.
