I think I need a new heating element for a Capresso 452. Are these available anywhere?

I had a problem with the coffee pot heater. You'll need to purchase a the proper temperature range thermistor, which is a temperature control device, and replace it. You'll also need special Torx bits with the hole in the end ( security-type screws ) to take the coffeemaker apart. Pretty easy job. Mine works great now

Coffee Maker manufacturers rarely sell individual parts for the machine aside from filters and whatnot. I recommend replacing it.

Capresso c1300

Just a guess here but if you are not using soft water you may have a hard water scale coating on the sensor. The sensor is preventing the heating element from powering up because it thinks there is no water. Try filling the machine with vinegar for several hours (no more than overnight) This will dissolve hard water deposits and hopefully clear the sensor. (the sensor should be a simple continuity contact. If you can look inside and see a metal button and it is fouled clean it off.)

Hi
Probably an internal Element has gone open circuit.
Machine is smart & senses not heating up so don't let water through.
Mine did the same thing. So I pulled it apart (with photos)
Found the heater element (Open). Found a replacement element after 6 weeks and replaced it in 2 hours.

Back to getting great coffee.. Ahhh

Where is NA? Have you tried some websites for part resources? I found your part available at partstore.com. If you type in your model number, I found your element on page 15 as part #3387749. It lists for about $60. I hope this gives you a little more hope.
