My sony ericsson p1i can connect to other wifi hotspots(which are UNSECURED like in cafes restaurants, etc) but whenever i try to connect to our wireless network at home, it says i am connected but i just can't browse a webpage. I've tried lowering down the security fro WPA to WEP (it wont work) then i simply remove the security(unsecured network - still not working) I can connect to all those types of security, may it be WPA or WEP or unsecured but i still can't browse a webpage. I've checked the DNS and IP settings on the PHONE; it is set to automatic, so it SHOULD work but it doesn't. I've tried putting a static IP and DNS; i still can't browse a webpage. I've tried changing the channels on our router user interface, but still i can't browse a webpage although it says i am connected and in excellent signal from our wireless network. whenever i browse a webpage, this message appears: COULD NOT LOCATE REMOTE SERVER. what should i do now?

In NOKIA E71 will always appear "web: no getway reply" at the time of wifi conn

It means either your wifi router isn't correctly configured (gateway IP address) or you attempted to connect to an protected wifi infrastructure. First, try to connect to an free hotspot (airport, restaurant, etc)

Cannot connect samsung Galaxy tab to internet

Your question is very messy. I don't understand what are you trying to say.

Connecting to Internet need WiFi (your home wifi through your router, cafe wifi hotspot, etc) or GPRS (data connect through your carrier/SIM, like 3G, 2G, HSDPA, Edge).

For WiFi, normally you'll need a security key.

For GPRS, you'll need some settings from your carrier.

Wifi connection problem on P1i

Try formatting the phone to factory settings. Happens with my P1i occasionally. If your wifi is secured, it gives such problems. Dont secure your wifi. Try in any other wifi network.

Wifi can't connect

Please do check if there is any wifi network available? if it is available check if that is encrypted? if so need a key to connect. Please check. If these things are correctly set then there shouldn't be any problem.

Archos 605 wifi

people want to secure their networks. If you're having a hard time finding a unsecured network, visit a wifi hotspot, i.e. coffee shops, internet cafes etc.
