LCD Screen would cost you more than tv worth, a new tv would be good choice instead of lcd screen replacement.

Sorry the tv is worthless as a whole tv now,the tv screen picture panel are 90% of the tv.By buying and replacing the picture screen panel will cost the same as a new tv.Tv screen panels are limited productions by the tvs industries.Sorry ur now only worth as salvages tv for it electonic boards for other tv for spare parts only.

you will need a new lcd panel . a new panel is probably going to cost you as much as you paid for a new tv. you could try looking for a used one

You can't repair cracked LCD screens, they can only be replaced. Unfortunately LCD screens cost more than the TV is worth. If you do happen to find a replacement screen, it's a pretty simple job (just a bunch of screws you have to remember where they go.) I had one broken a few months ago. I got a couple quotes.. it was about $200 less then a brand new one. I'd just buy a new one.
For the new TV I'd pickup a screen protector for it. My son threw a toy at my TV the other day and I nearly had a heart attack from the flashbacks. Thank God I picked up one of these a few weeks earlier. It stopped it. LCD screens really break easily as you know. http://www.tv-armor.com

I'm curious if getting a replacement lcd panel for a 46" TV is not a problem, how difficult is it to replace it yourself. That is remove a cracked one and replace it with a new one.
