Hi. I have one of these on my front door and recently it's loose and needs to be tighten. I can't seem to get to the 2 screw (from the inside) I can see it but can not get to it because there's a cover piece there. I do see a small hole and tried to stick a pin in it but did nothing. Please help

Stick a sturdy pin in the hole and at the same time pull on the lever. this should remove the lever , then you can remove the plate to get at the screws.

Hope this helps

How do I tighten my Weiser front door handle

Depends on the model. Usually there are 2 screws behind the trim plate that you need to tighten. The handle may need to be removed, to take off the trim plate so you can get at the screws. If that's the case the handle will have a small pin on the shaft someplace. Push the pin in and pull the handle off. Then carefully pry the trim plate off, tighten the screws and reinstall everything.

Washer door drops when i open it.when i close it i have to lift door. hinge seems loose

This may seem obvious, but tighten all the screws on the front panel, especially around the door hinge area. A #2 Phillips screwdriver is all you need. Also, try to see where it's dropping - is it at the door itself, or does the entire hinge assembly sag where it enters the washer?

Door and handle problems. Smeg fa311x

sounds like your door is sprung. take door off and lay flat on a table outside of the door down. loosen screws on door liner . screws are hidden under door seal. when all loose not removed make sure door is flat on table. tighten the screws being careful not to move door. reinstall door and it should be ok. this is usually cause be either someone leaning or hanging on the door when it is open. or putting to heavy of items in the door trays.

The door on my kenmore elite dishwasher will not close or lock

Hi, the "latch keeper" has gotten out of alignment. You'll need to adjust it.
All you'll need is a Phillips screwdriver to fix this. Open the door and look at the "latch keeper" (it's not on the door, but on the frame). It's the thing that the door lock/latch grabs on to when you try to lock the door. There are 2 screws holding it in place. Loosen these, pull the keeper toward you a bit and tighten the screws to lock it in. Now try your door.
This may take several attempts to get it just right, because you want the door closing tight enough so as not to allow a water leak and loose enough for you to close it easily.

Sub-Zero 601R door handle is loose

My Sub is a 650S. Not sure your handle assy. is the same or not. But each of the 2 attachment points have a small 3/32" set screw on the bottom of each short piece between the vertical handle and the door. These set screws grab onto posts that are screwed into the door. There can be 3 points where the handle can work loose.
1. The set screw(s) have backed out and not holding tightly onto the door studs. 2. The studs in the door are loose and need to be tightened with a screw driver. 3. After loosening the handle via the set screws, when you look back into the cavity vacated by the studs from the door, (pivot handle clockwise past edge of door) you will see a Philips-head screw that secures the spacer to the handle. If the spacer is loose, tighten it with screw driver. Then mount back into door stud and tighten set screw. Problem Solved. Have a beer!!!

Loose fins

Hi, Unplug the dryer. Remove the screws on each side of the door opening. The front will pull toward you and lift off the clips at the bottom. You have the option to take the door off or leave it hang there. With the front off, you should be able to reach in and tighten the screws that hold the [addles in place. Just turn the drun by hand to get to the next paddle. You will need a 5/16" or 1/4" nut driver/socket.
Please let me know if this helps you at all or if I can assist you further.

Thanks
Vic

Maytag dryer making clanking noise

I had this problem and the cause was a loose screw holding on one of the "paddles" inside the drum. I removed the door, front panel, lifted the top, manually rotated the drum until I saw the screw head which had worked loose and was slapping the side of the dryer. A quick tighten of the screw and the noise was gone.

Kwikset deadbolt

use the proper size alan wrench to tighten or loosen face plate . That is if you have not stripped that hole by putting the wrong tool to it. Under that plate is the 2 main screws to hold the hardware tight to the door.
