We purchased a Denon v310 to play multi format dvd's and the message we get is wrong region, how do I unlock?

If you put in a multi-region DVD and it asks you to change region it will only change 5 times. The last region on the 5th try is what it stays as. You must download software to flash the unit and if done wrong will brick the unit.

Dont have the dvd player in question : try this not sure if it'll work so come back and let me know

Don´t you put the progresive scan by mistake

read ur insrucion book and it will tell u what to do,,,,if not go in contact with denon

For starters, the Chinese have a totally different set of coding than most anyone else. So you would most likely actually have to buy a dvd player out of China to read it. Otherwise, get teh right codec's for your computer to play it on a dvd rom drive for the computer. Im sorry that this may not be what you are looking for, but ive learned from buying a lot of foreign movies, that you most often have to buy the playing equipment also from the country to play it.

To set the DNV-310/210 to Region 0 (Region Free), on the IR remote press:
